Office warriors!
There's only two things we look forward during workdays: Lunch Time and Knock-off Time!
Here's a suggestion for lunch if you are at Clarke Quay/ Chinatown area and you have not yet tried this awesome place known for their soya chicken.
Check out: Chiew Kee Chicken Noodle House!
Personally, I have been there twice myself with two different group of colleagues because it is so yummy that it made me craved for more. The chicken is well marinated and very tender. It has a good texture to it and the accompanying sauce complements the savory taste of the dish. You can pick either the noodles or the rice. Both are equally good!
Price: Average $5 per person ; best to go in a group so you get to have more chicken. Sharing is caring!
Queue: Expect long queues during lunch hours but it is definitely worth the wait. The first time i went, we had 10 people. Waited for 15 minutes. The second time I went, we had 3 people and we got seats immediately.
Must-order: Soya Chicken, Noodles and try the chicken with their chili sauce.
Rating: ★★★★☆
Opening Hours: 8am - 7pm (Alt Wednesday Off)
Location: 32 Upper Cross Street
Simple food fare but it's a belly-warming lunch to tide you through your day! ;)
